Keep Toccoa-Stephens County Beautiful is a non-profit organization involved in litter prevention campaigns, beautification efforts, community improvements, and waste and pollution reduction education. The goal of Keep Toccoa-Stephens County Beautiful (KTSCB) is to inspire the people of Stephens County, Georgia, To take greater responsibility for keeping our community clean and beautiful. Toward this end, KTSCB seeks to foster strong environmental stewardship that will lead to substantial improvements in the attractiveness and livability of Stephens County. In order to achieve its goal KTSCB will take an active role in educating the people of Stephens County, from the very young to the very old,about the value of keeping our community clean and beautiful. Encouraging everyone to find ways they can assist in keeping our community clean and beautiful and challenging government officals and business-people to take leadership roles in keeping our community clean and beautiful. Current methods KTSCB uses to accomplish its goal includes Great American Cleanup Day, Rivers Alive Day, Creatures of the Night Program, Home and Outdoor Show, and Adopt-A-Road, Community Garden. Future methods KTSCB may consider for acomplishing its goal includes Citizens Advisory Panel, K-12 Education Program, Adult Education Programs.There are three types of members, individuals, families and businesses.
