About Us

Stephens County's first local farm winery opens its doors for business.

We are a locally own small town vineyard located in the peaceful mountains of Northeast Georgia. We have a variety of muscadines including both red and white.

Currahee Vineyard and Winery held a Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting in April 2012 to celebrate its opening.

Owner Marvin Dunson said he and his family including daughter Ashley have worked on this since 2008 and are now ready to produce and sell wine from the winery and its tasting room.

We have a tasting room, said Dunson. For the time being, it is going to be here in front of a beautiful mountain so that a person can come out and relax. It is going to be low-key where people can enjoy themselves. That was our dream to build this place for that. We are very proud to be a part of Toccoa and Stephens County.

The tasting room is open from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Currahee Vineyard and Winery is located on West Currahee Street near the Jeanette Jamieson Intersection.
