Come be part of Stephens County’s wildest, craziest & most invigorating fundraiser! The 9th Annual Leap for Literacy will be held February 28, 2015 at the Georgia Baptist Convention Center in Toccoa. We invite those in the community with an adventurous side to “LEAP” into the cold, cold waters of Lake Louise and raise money for a good cause.
Businesses can sponsor a 2-person team and have their name on the commemorative t-shirt for $250. Individuals can leap for a donation of $100. All participants are encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor their LEAP. All donations are tax deductible so don't be shy about asking for support! Prizes will be awarded to the business and individual who garners the most donations. For those leaping “costumes are encouraged and rewarded” – though wetsuits are not allowed.
For more information or to register please call Allyson Warren at 706-898-5116 or allyson.warren@stephenscountyschools.org. All proceeds from the event benefit the Stephens County Read at Home (RAH) program, a program sponsored by Family Connection of Stephens County. RAH delivers FREE age appropriate books monthly to children ages 0-5 residing in Stephens County. The goal of RAH is to promote early literacy and school readiness.
