About DOCO Regional Federal Credit Union...
Credit Unions represent a movement with objectives different from those of most other financial institutions. As not for profit financial cooperatives, our primary objective is to provide service to members, rather than making a profit for stockholders. Chartered in 1959, DOCO Regional Federal Credit Union is owned by our members, with each member having an equal voice in the direction and operation of the Credit Union. We serve approxmately 22,000 members throughout the South Georgia region. Our volunteer Board of Directors is elected by our members to oversee the Credit Union on the members' behalf. We judge our success by the satisfaction of our members and return excess earnings to our members in the following forms:
Quality personalized service
A growing range of free or low-cost products and services
Membership privileges for family members
Profits returned to members through lower interest rates and higher dividends on account balances
All members of DOCO are provided with free Life Savings Insurance up to $2,000 depending on age and savings account balance.
Our Mission to Our Members...
