Named after the legendary "Uncrowned Queen of Blues" and Toccoan native, the Ida Cox Music Series celebrates the best that Toccoa has to offer: A love of music, a celebration of diversity, and a whole lot of talent.
The 2018 Ida Cox Music Series takes place every Saturday in June, July, and August, beginning at 7pm. Each Saturday features a different artist, beer, wine, and food served on the street, and much more.
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair!
This week featuring: Hunter Callahan
If you asked the 20-year-old singer-songwriter Hunter Callahan what kind of genre he plays, he’ll comeback with a simple response, “I just play music.” And, quite frankly, that’s the truth.
Gifted with a voice that hardly fits his appearance, the combination of his raspy vocals and soulful songwriting has drawn comparisons to John Mayer, Ray Lamontagne, and Bob Dylan.
So the story is just getting started. But with new songs coming, and new doors opening, the story definitely has promise.
