The Lainie Weade Memorial Tour de Tugaloo bicycle ride will be held on Saturday November 5th at 10:00am originating at Yonah Dam Park in Toccoa, GA. There are several courses with varying distances and terrain to choose from including 22, 42 and 62 mile routes. A 5-mile family fun ride is also available for younger or casual riders. The routes take riders through the incredibly beautiful yet less traveled roads of the Tugaloo River Corridor in northeast Georgia and western South Carolina where the terrain is gentle to challenging. Riders also have the option of stopping along the routes to explore historical sites.
Proceeds from the ride benefit the Stephens County Foundation whose mission is to help protect and preserve the historic and natural resources of the Tugaloo River Corridor.
